The Ambassadors are the official welcoming committee of the Chamber.  The group visits and congratulates new business owners, businesses who have recently had an expansion or remodeling, dedications of community projects, and business anniversaries.

Leadership Washington

  • The sessions start with an orientation in September where the new class learns about the upcoming 7 sessions and meet their new class members.
  • Class days include: Economic Development/Finance Day, Education Day, Health & Recreation Day, Business, Industry & Media Day, City/County Government Day, Agriculture Day, and County History Day.
  • Each class has a graduation celebration.
  • The class meets the second Wednesday of each month from approximately 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
  • Tuition for Chamber members is $175.00 and includes lunch and breaks on each day.

Government Relations

This committee plans three legislative briefings each January, February, and March.  The group invites local legislators who answer questions and give updates about what is going on at the state capital.  The group also plans candidate forums for local contested races.

Membership

This committee conducts a membership drive each year.  This group recruits new members in an effort to strengthen the Chamber and provide more dollars to continue with current programming and add new programs.
