• Send out 131 Welcome to Washington Packets.
• Distribute a full color brochure for Washington.
• Answer over 125 tourism requests.
• Disburse over 200 relocation packets.
• Answer over 30 requests from students doing school projects on Washington and Washington County.
• Conduct a weekly show on KCII Radio.
• Maintain and disburse a community Calendar of Events.  Call us if you have an event to add!!
• Give out over 400 business referrals.  First priority for referrals is given to Chamber members.
• Maintain memberships in
        - Eastern Iowa Tourism Association
        - The Iowa Group Travel Association
        - Iowa Chamber of Commerce Executives
        - Better Business Bureau
• Work in cooperation with the Community Y to host a very successful "Trick or Treat Around the Square", for over 650 children and their parents.
• Continue a recycling program for inkjet.
• Maintain a brochure rack, featuring: flyers from chamber member businesses, state maps, and other tourist information.
• Host and provide step on service to bus tours.
• In 2001 hosted and helped coordinate a luncheon stop for MotorIoway, a vintage motor vehicle tour.  Washington was voted the best lunch stop on the week long tour.
• Along with WEDG hosted a luncheon for major county employers to discuss local economic impacts following the Sept. 11 tragedy.
• Hosted the Iowa Chamber of Commerce Assistants annual conference in 2001.
• Coordinate Christmas trees in the planters around the square in cooperation with the AM Kiwanis.
• Sell over $30,000 of Chamber Currency each year for gifts for the hard to buy for people.  Many local employers use the currency as employee gifts, bonuses, and incentives.  The currency can be used at over 60 local businesses.
